LibraryThing

Thanks to the our Advance Blogging course that Reference Staff provide, I was able to build the LibraryThing search widget, change the width and background colour. Next time we are running this course, consider coming.

Technorati

This is a great source of information. The advance feature made it possible to refine my searching. I found a lot of useful YouTubes and blogs to assist with client training eg creating Google Docs, iGoogle etc.

Delicilous

I already had a Delicious account unfortuately because I hadn't used it for a long time, I had to creat a new one....... :) I can see Delicious be of value for some.

Twitter, blogging and iGoogle

Finally got Twitter and my blog chatting to each other and Twitter updates on my iGoogle.

RSS feeds

now to RSS feeds and wikis..... as if I don't have enough to do

Facebook

I already have a facebook account and providing client training for Reference Services. We are currently developing advanced sessions to offer to clients.

When we are training clients, Elli and I have to different facebook accounts. Elli's is open to everyone as it promotes her professional dancing while mine has privacy restrictions. We our facebooks accounts to illustrate the levels of access to personal information. Because my of my background, privacy is very important. Anyone searching for my name will not have a nil result.

If you would like to access my account, please feel free to contact me.

Twitter

Added my blog to my Twitter profile. Now all I have to do is figure out how to add Twitter to my blog. Causing headaches......
